The personal and professional development of our employees is one of the driving forces behind Mutua Universal's growth. The professionalism of our teams has resulted in the Company being considered a benchmark among insurance companies in terms of quality and service.
Top priority: protecting the health and safety of the Company's employees
From the declaration of the state of alarm and throughout the year, Mutua Universal introduced all the measures necessary to guarantee the protection of its professionals against the risk of contagion.
Mutua Universal immediately made teleworking available to all non-essential staff. Face-to-face work was maintained solely in the essential services of the health care centres, under a minimum service.
During the gradual return of healthcare professionals to the centres, preventive measures were introduced, information leaflets were distributed on the measures to be followed and specific training sessions were held. A psychological support service was also introduced for workers who need it and an app developed with resources for emotional wellbeing.

Health and wellbeing in times of COVID-19
The fourth edition of the Health Week, developed within the framework of the Corporate Health Programme +Health +Life, also focused on health and wellbeing in times of COVID-19 (providing advice on healthy eating, relaxation techniques, introductory classes to Pilates and information on emotional wellbeing).

Adaptation of training content at the Corporate University
Activity at the Corporate University was also affected by the pandemic: all face-to-face courses were suspended and part of the planned content was adapted to provide specialised knowledge on the new tools and services developed by the Company.
