Anticipating risks, a capacity to react and ethical management have been decisive factors in the Company's response to the health crisis, while communication with stakeholders has always been transparent and constant.
Constant monitorisation of risks associated with the pandemic
Due to the very nature of Mutua Universal’s activity, the COVID-19 pandemic affected the Company on very different levels: economic sustainability, provision of healthcare and management services, relationship with the administration and staff performance. A specific contingency plan was developed in order to anticipate risks.
Among the various actions carried out, we would highlight:
- The creation of a Coronavirus Crisis Committee made up of the Entity's main decision-makers.
- Drawing up of a "COVID-19 Risk Map" to identify, evaluate, manage and check the main risks arising from the pandemic.
- Implementation of a special procedure to control and monitor changes in regulations in the management of COVID-19.

In accordance with the principle of ethical and transparent management of our governance model, the Company maintained a policy of maximum transparency in communication with professionals and other stakeholders on the evolution of the crisis, changes in regulations and the measures taken by the organisation.
